GRADIMAGES equips their agents with their Nikon D3000 series cameras (five year old model), and instructs them to set them to the Standard Definition (SD) setting to intentionally produce low resolution images. The reason they do this is, so that the customers are forced to request them to process the images at high resolutions - in order to produce your graduate with a look which seems as if it were taken by a professional - although in most cases they are NOT.

Most of their employees are NOT professionals, but merely seasonal hires, that they bring in, then provide inferior training on how to set the cameras to their STANDARD settings to create this inferior look for every shot taken. Many students, or their parents, are in debt from the expense of their education, and the exploitive practices of GRADIMAGES will only place them deeper into debt - for a product that they can get from a local photographer - who will do a much better job. Check out their website or call their CSR's and you will see that the packages they offer are not worth the price they place on the images, or the cheap frames (with a plastic cover instead of glass), they will try to sell on their site. DO NOT USE THEM.

Instead, pay a professional to go to the graduation and capture the images of your friends, and, or family members. You will thank yourself for going this route!

Monetary Loss: $350.

Not defending them, but if they set the camera to SD, they can't produce HR images later, as you imply in the opening paragraph.
